Look back at the activities we did on Thursday, working with a partner. How are these two activities valuable to us in our class and the enviroment we are trying to create?
Those activities help us in this class because we won't always be able to communicate with our words and we're gonna have to learn how to trust eachother.
The activities that we did on Thursday help us get an understanding o what it will be like once we start doing more intense activities like climbing rocks. Sometimes we will most likely have to trust each other with limitations on some of our senses.
They helped by forcing us to trust each other when our eyes were closed and teaching us different ways to communicate and also the importance of communication.
The activities not only helped us learn to trust another person, but also gave us a taste of the sort of focus that's needed during more intense activities like wall climbing.
We need to learn how to trust eachother and work together. Communication is important in our class and sometimes we will need to be able to communicate in different ways.
The activity made us use our communication skills and force us to trust one another. If we can't trust one another there is no communication. In the future like rock climbing, can't yell out loud because they might not understand or might have a weak voice. If we can't trust it'll be no fun doing rock climbing or any other activities in the future.
these activities helped us to first focus on what we were supposed to be listening for even though there was so much other notice going on. it was a little bit hard at first but if you really focused, you were able to hear your partner making your noise. this is going to be helpful later on when we start propelling because theres going to be a lot going on in the gym but we'll have to concentrate on what were doing because if we dont then it can be dangerous. the car activity helped us to trust our partner. we had no idea where we were or which way to turn... it was all up to the "driver." later on we will have to really trust one another in order to successfully complete the tasks that we will be given.
The two activities helped us learn how to build trust with each other and follow through with being responsible for our actions. You had to make sure that if you wanted to be able to trust someone, they have to be able to trust you too. So building trust and being responsible plays a really big role in making our class more successful.
The activities helped us learn that someday, there is going to be something that needs to be accomplished that requires more than one person to succeed. in order for us to be successful, we are going to have to trust each other and believe that the people around us can guide us through.

The activity helped me to become more comfortable and trusting with my partner, and in turn I had to be responsible with her when her eyes were closed. I still opened my eyes at some times, but not as much as I anticipated I was going to.
This was also another great team-building activity it made our class focus on communication. I had fun (i guess) it was difficult and made us work as a team.
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.

They helped us learn to trust and communicate with eachother. These skills will be helpful later in the year, especially when we rock climb.

This activity helped us to work and trust someone you barely know. as well trying to get use to the physical contact without feeling uncomfortable.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! =]
These activities were vital because we need to trust eachother and need to be able to communicate when we're out of our comfort zones.
