Happy Halloween! We have been in class for 4o days. Think back to the start of the year and let us know where you are at with the class? What role did you play this quarter? How did the class meet your expectations?
Since the beginning of the year i have grow a lot more comfortable with everyone, even the people that i didnt know at all. I feel we are all working together and slowly becoming one whole, but we still have a lot of work to do. This quarter, the role i played was trying to be cooperative and listen to everyones ideas but also get mine out there too and i feel i did a good job with that. This class has been fun so far with all the activities and team building things we have done and i look forward to the rest of the year.
p.s. Mr. H! i got my schedule switched so i have gym with you first both semesters :)
This class has gotten a lot more fun and interesting. All most off of us know each other now and we can trust and depend on each other. This quarter i tried to get to know each and every student and i know every one's names =] This class is turing out to be as fun as i hoped and im excited too see what else this class has in store for us =]
While the class has gotten to the point where everyone knows each other, it seems like most people are still staying within their comfort zone, which is really what I expected from this class anyway.
This gym class has been pretty good so far. i feel as though everyone needs to step up but not everyone has done that. also in this class i was expecting more outdoor "adventure" stuff. we do a lot of team building and thats good but theres so much more that we could do that just that.
Yeah, i think we are all more comfortable with eachother and trust eachother more than we did in the beginning. I expected more adventure,but this has been fun.
This quarter was interesting. We've started to bond, and from that of course there's been fighting, but nothing serious.I deffinitly think were closer now then what we were when we first met, and I think our class has the potential to be a really close knit team.
i have so much fun in this class and i think that helps us all feel really comfortable. and i can trust almost everyone in the class! the activities have gotten very fun, and hard! but H you're the best teacher and i think our class is awesome. so cant wait for the next 3 quarters ((:

We're getting to know each other which is really helping to get things done. Yeah, we fight, but that's gonna happen no matter what we do. I feel really welcomed to the class. I think that I'm going to really miss this class after this quarter. I feel like we've already gotten this far and now I have to try and cherish the last days of this sememester.
I think we need to be able to listen to each other better. We should try to respect each other's ideas and trust each other to follow their resposibilities.
Overall I think that we've all tried our best and should continue to keep trying to be successful.
i think this class has been really fun and interesting. i like the adventure part of the class but i think we need to become better trusting of eachother before we get to the harder stuff. i really like team challenge kinda stuff because it teaches how to get along with eachother and what we need to do to include everyone and their ideas. if we're able to do that, we can do anything :) and thats really exciting for me to think about. cant wait for the rest of the year!
i feel like our class has been starting to bond more&&we are starting to feel like we can be ourselves around one another. this class has taught me how to be patient with other people&&how well you need to include everyone in the activities we do.i love the team building that we do in the class.i can't wait until all of us can trust every single person in the class equally&&see what is in store for the rest of the year.
At first, I was a little hesitant towards the class since I didn't know that many people. But now, I feel much more comfortable talking and interacting with other people. I love our team bonding activities because they helped me learn to trust others and to share ideas. I think we're on our way to a successful class! I can't wait to see how we are going to progress throughout second quarter.
I felt really weird when we started the class. Now i feel more comfortable with the people in the class. I am very confident with the activities in the class. It has been fun and i hope it stills the same further now.
At the beging of the year I was nervous that I wouldnt know anyone,but I was wrong. Along with people I knew I've also met new people that on a regular occasion I would probably not. So far the class has been great and im hoping it stays that way.
I really was intimidated by how different and how much i didn't know everyone in the beginning of the year. I thought I would never be able to relate to anyone and it was kinda awkward getting to know everyone at first. I would like to think i played the role of being a follower and a leader. I tried to listen to everyone's ideas and make sure everyone was being heard. I think the class is learning from eachother and we're bonding bit by bit. Ive gotten used to H's expectations and know that I know what he wants from us I try to do my best everday to give it my all whether in room18, the west shelf, or the gymnastics room! I'm actually lovin this class & am pleasently surprised

I think I've learned a lot this quarter about teamwork and communication and I think we've definitely gotten better at the activities, but we still have room for improvement. I can't wait to try new challenges and get to know people even more throughout the rest of the year.
I think we still have a long way to go before we can rock-climb safely. And I don't think that I have really been active in this class but I have been doing what my group tells me but I am not proactive.
i totally forgot to do this but i am now but i think that the class has grown a lot. i mean i get annoyed during class when not everyone wants to participate in the activities but i think were trying a lot harder which is nice to have people coming up with ideas. I think were all getting a long good so far. But on thursday we really need to listen to everyone to get the rope activity done with!
This class has definitely grown at least a little closer together and we've become more pumped for the different team building activities. I've seen a lot of improvement, but we still need better communication skills. There are still a lot of people distancing themselves from the majority of the group and many students who are still not willing to speak their mind. Loved 1st quarter though and I hope this class only grows closer together!
i think that i have grown some from the beginning of this year, and i am trying to participate more, where as at the beginning of the year i didn't say much in class. this quarter, i've played the role of a listener, listening to the people in the class who are leading our activites, and participating in their ideas. it has been fun doing all of the team building activities with a bunch of people i never would have gotten to know if it weren't for this class.
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.

I've seen a lot of improvement, but we still need better communication skills. There are still a lot of people distancing themselves from the majority of the group and many students who are still not willing to speak their mind. i think that i have grown some from the beginning of this year, and i am trying to participate more, where as at the beginning of the year i didn't say much in class. this quarter, i've played the role of a listener, listening to the people in the class who are leading our activites, and participating in their ideas. it has been fun doing all of the team building activities with a bunch of people i never would have gotten to know if it weren't for this class.
